Isaltino Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Olympiacos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaltino Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Isaltino Cordeiro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Hudson de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Koudas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hudson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Kotridis came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Mattos in the 18th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Vertsotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Eusébio Baptista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Beto Vinhas got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 38th minute, Dimitris Koudas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hudson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match Floresta Club U18 got a corner. Olympiacos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusébio Baptista ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eusébio Baptista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eustratios Vertsotis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Dino Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustratios Vertsotis was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionysis Valassakis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Dionysis Valassakis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Mattos in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Didi Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustratios Vertsotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustratios Vertsotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hudson de Souza made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Dimitris Koudas sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Didi Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustratios Vertsotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Dimitris Koudas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hudson de Souza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Although Floresta Club U18 had been in control for most of the match, Olympiacos FC still came away with the win.
