A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Augustin Nechifor hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Jonathan Kristoffers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavian Bogdănescu. Jonathan Kristoffers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Klaus Bas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Bogdănescu having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Dragalina to maneuver through the defense. When Klaus Bas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the The Dalwhinnie Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaus Bas couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Valer Uncheşelu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Dalwhinnie Boys the free kick. The wind increased when Klaus Bas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Jonathan Kristoffers got a free kick in the 50th minute. 51 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Iorgu came free, but Bjorn Panter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjorn Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Nechifor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Bogdănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Kristoffers in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Traian Roşu got a free kick in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Bjorn Panter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Nechifor. A well placed Augustin Nechifor short distance shot in the 67th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Bas in the 70th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bjorn Panter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Nechifor in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner. Augustin Nechifor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 84th minute, Jonathan Kristoffers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Bogdănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Roel Geerdink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Bas came free, but Octavian Bogdănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Buș during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Adam Buș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
