Spectators: 7789 (Terracing: 5843, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augustin Nechifor took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Holger Lidström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Bogdănescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Octavian Bogdănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Holger Lidström went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Octavian Bogdănescu made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Niclas Österberg sent off a good shot on target. FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Lidström in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, Costin Iorgu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Hedman came out of the goal and Costin Iorgu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavian Bogdănescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DIF LEEDS BK's Niclas Österberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Traian Roşu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Octavian Bogdănescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Kellbom's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. DIF LEEDS BK's Holger Lidström got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu got control of the ball when Niclas Österberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Holger Lidström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Holger Lidström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.

Octavian Bogdănescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niclas Österberg's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Oscar Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Roşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Costin Iorgu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oscar Hedman. Costin Iorgu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-1. If Traian Roşu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Oscar Hedman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Iorgu. Oscar Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Vergulescu in the 81st minute of play. Osvald Samuelsson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Erland Löfkvist hit a great ball. Oscar Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Roşu in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Iorgu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Hedman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Kellbom came free, but Octavian Bogdănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Löfkvist hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Nechifor in the 94th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Oscar Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
