The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Traian Roşu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Traian Roşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Demario having to interfere. Celso Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Roşu in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Mannie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Mannie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Celso Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Nechifor in the 18th minute. Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Juventud Antoniana from getting a goal against them. Costin Iorgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Demario having to interfere. With a little luck, Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario got control of the ball when Augustin Nechifor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Juventud Antoniana's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Nechifor came free, but Celso Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Augustin Nechifor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Traian Roşu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Demario having to make a save. In the 45th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Nechifor to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Augustin Nechifor made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Augustin Nechifor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Demario was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Delmiro Castel came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Juventud Antoniana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Castel couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Medina. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Traian Roşu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Demario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Nechifor in the 66th minute of play. Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Iorgu in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Dragalina. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Adam Buș got a free kick in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valer Cobâlcescu during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valer Cobâlcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Juventud Antoniana made a substitution. Roque Oihan replaced Alejandro Medina. Cristian Pelayo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Celso Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 83rd minute of the match. Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Vergulescu in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichifor Vergulescu in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Demario saved Juventud Antoniana from getting behind. Celso Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Nechifor in the 88th minute of play. Eugenio Hernando hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC Steaua Pildesti's Valer Uncheşelu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Iorgu in the 94th minute of play.
