Angelo Urbani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Duro in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Domingues saved Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Arturo Duro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Domingues was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 12 minutes of play, Coriano FC's Alberigo Alonzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Coriano FC's Mortimer Rahamut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Alberigo Alonzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberigo Alonzi. Tomás Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Lúcio Domingues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Coriano FC's Angelo Urbani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Leme in the 32nd minute of play. Lúcio Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Alonzi in the 33rd minute. Lúcio Domingues made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Mortimer Rahamut sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mortimer Rahamut in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arrigo Ceresoli kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute Cássio Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urbani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Duro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lúcio Domingues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Alonzi went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Cristoforo Orecchioni kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Alonzi in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Coriano FC booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Cristoforo Orecchioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Elói Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Urbani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Luiz Fábio Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Urbani was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Tomás Marques got a free kick in the 79th minute. Arturo Duro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Martini. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mortimer Rahamut in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Aparecido came free, but Angelo Urbani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Coriano FC's Arturo Duro made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Alonzi in the 95th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nova Iguaçu MZFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coriano FC.
