Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Franco Eradi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Xurxo Lastra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verwachting the free kick. In the 2nd minute, one of ARES FC DeusDeFutbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ARES FC DeusDeFutbol. The goalkeeper, Faron Resto, was totally fooled by Verwachting's Franck Bakhuis, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 8 minutes into the match, Oscar Vaalman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faron Resto. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Vaalman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 18th minute, Ron Lammers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faron Resto. The goal made the score 3-0. Faron Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Vaalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd match minute, Verwachting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Melis to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faron Resto having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Jeuring. Balasi Guisla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Casper Enting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Gerrit Melis scored to the left of an out of position Faron Resto, making the score, 4-0. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Faron Resto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save ARES FC DeusDeFutbol from getting a goal against them. Faron Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Lammers in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ron Lammers made a kick off. Faron Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Lammers, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes of play, Verwachting's Ron Lammers made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faron Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Gerrit Melis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faron Resto. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerrit Melis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Faron Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Lammers in the 65th minute of play. Faron Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Vaalman in the 69th minute of play. Ron Lammers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ron Lammers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Faron Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Verwachting booed when ARES FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Fabregas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Lammers in the 81st minute of play forced ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Faron Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Lammers in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faron Resto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerrit Melis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Lammers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Faron Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Ron Lammers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faron Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
