Delmiro Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Delmiro Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit Melis. After 17 minutes, Facundo Nahas made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Verwachting's Casper Enting tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Verwachting's Ron Lammers got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrit Melis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
