After 4 minutes, Gwenn Preuveneer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Paal-Tervant and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gwenn Preuveneer kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manu Gyselinx in the 6th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolaas Van Hamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Nascimento in the 8th minute of the match. Gilian Weynants received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Carlos Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Mário Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Nascimento scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolaas Van Hamme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolaas Van Hamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Pedro Palmeira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Reinaud De Schutter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the KFC Paal-Tervant defense, Fausto Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolaas Van Hamme. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolaas Van Hamme should have stopped the shot. Fausto Martins hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Gilian Weynants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, KFC Paal-Tervant's Nicolaas Van Hamme got control of the ball when Fausto Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsene Vermeulen made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Luckas De Wortelaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Roceira SC defense, Luckas De Wortelaers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Chaves. The Roceira SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Eduardo Chaves should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Martins in the 72nd minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Nicolaas Van Hamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Juan Teles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nicolaas Van Hamme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolaas Van Hamme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Nascimento. Arsene Vermeulen in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Eduardo Chaves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mário Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nicolaas Van Hamme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 85 in the game by Manu Gyselinx from a close distance when the talented Carlos Eduardo Chaves managed to make a qualified save. Roceira SC's players were relieved. After 87 minutes of play, Roceira SC's Mário Nascimento made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolaas Van Hamme was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, KFC Paal-Tervant's Carlos Eduardo Chaves threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luckas De Wortelaers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Roceira SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
