Guansa's Romulo Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsene Vermeulen in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Erubiel Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guansa and the KFC Paal-Tervant players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Guansa's Christian Inocente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nicolaas Van Hamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Inocente in the 13th minute. Nicolaas Van Hamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Gwenn Preuveneer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Inocente in the 24th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Nicolaas Van Hamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Gilian Weynants got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Manu Gyselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Bartolo Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Hamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KFC Paal-Tervant's Nicolaas Van Hamme got control of the ball when Christian Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Laureijs was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in KFC Paal-Tervant fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Manu Gyselinx made the kick off in the second half. Manu Gyselinx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Braulio Vachon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolaas Van Hamme was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gilian Weynants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Estavan having to interfere. Romulo Estavan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Gilian Weynants sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Gilian Weynants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Braulio Vachon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guansa and the KFC Paal-Tervant players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute Luckas De Wortelaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Gilian Weynants. For all the effort they put into the match, the KFC Paal-Tervant players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guansa.
