Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Armando Orange started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Diego Armando Orange received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Estavan came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Armando Orange slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Chiquinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Inocente in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Diego Armando Orange dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Orange came free, but Romulo Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Manoel Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manoel Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manoel Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Guansa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diego Armando Orange fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Lopes during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Erubiel Lopes got a free kick in the 30th minute. Guansa's Erubiel Lopes got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Erubiel Lopes off the ground. 33 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Orange recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romulo Estavan. Diego Armando Orange showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 36th minute, Diego Armando Orange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Enaut made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bartolo Oto however managed to control. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Uzuri during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Adhemar Pinho was substituted for Flavinho Toscano. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bonifacio Uzuri hit a great ball. Romulo Estavan was a little too slow when Adhemar Pinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Christian Inocente made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Diego Armando Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Estavan. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Estavan should have stopped the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Diego Armando Orange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Armando Orange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adhemar Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Estavan having to make a save. Abel Ferreira hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Abel Ferreira got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Valentin Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guansa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquinho Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Christian Inocente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 95th minute of the match Bonifacio Uzuri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bonifacio Uzuri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th minute, Bonifacio Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guansa's Romulo Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Luz in the 97th minute of play.
