Baldomero Asteri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute Despidida AFC were awarded a corner. Atila Edu went to the cornerflag to take it. Baldomero Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Laurita FC's Roque Casomiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nicanor Mederi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Baldomero Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laurita FC. In the 40th minute Roque Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Atila Edu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Clodoveo Delfino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despidida AFC's Baldomero Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Mederi in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Laurita FC's Santiago Lleir made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Jorrin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gringo Atila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Melquiades Emeterio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Laurita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Emeterio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Jorrin in the 57th minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Atila Eduardov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Jorrin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Jorrin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Delfino saved Laurita FC from getting behind. Ulises Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Jorrin in the 80th minute of play. Clodoveo Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicanor Mederi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Asteri. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play.
