A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Armando Ubarna hit a great ball. Benedito de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Leonel Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Despidida AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
