Despite this Tyrell Springer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the game, Aage Schwabe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Aage Schwabe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Timo Wegner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KFC Uerdingen 05's Ludwig Gänßle shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Corneliu Vulpăşin but with some difficulty. 21 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aage Schwabe. Timo Wegner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out and tried to block the shot, but Timo Wegner slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Iustinian Petre charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Petre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Petre to maneuver through the defense. Tyrell Springer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Papadima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Uerdingen 05's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregor Reinauer in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on KFC Uerdingen 05's corner Gregor Reinauer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Corneliu Vulpăşin quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Walter Zürner hit a great ball. Aurel Huștiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tyrell Springer. KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timo Wegner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Papadima came free, but Tyrell Springer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Bodea to make the kick off. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timo Wegner went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Timo Wegner made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timo Wegner in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Vulpăşin saved Unicorns ™ from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Iacob Surdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Uerdingen 05 the free kick. Iacob Surdu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. KFC Uerdingen 05's Gregor Reinauer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unicorns ™. Tyrell Springer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Papadima in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Aage Schwabe got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Gänßle. Aurel Huștiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute Rareș Papadima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrell Springer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Wegner in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aage Schwabe in the 74th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Denis Negruț hit a great ball. Tyrell Springer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Papadima, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the game, Rareș Papadima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tyrell Springer. Rareș Papadima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Timo Wegner hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Aurel Huștiu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyrell Springer skillfully saved the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Timo Wegner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Wegner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. KFC Uerdingen 05 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
