After 73 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Brehme. 75 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's Paulo Neves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Neves in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyrell Springer saved KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting behind. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Luís Fernando Esteves hit a great ball. Cristian Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyrell Springer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 minutes, Dinei Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pendotiba and the KFC Uerdingen 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Paraibano to maneuver through the defense.
