Corneliu Vulpăşin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Machado Maja came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea got control of the ball when Rareș Papadima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inacio Trevijano, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rius Vivar in the 88th minute of play. Inacio Trevijano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Mauricio Clas put in a rough tackle. Euloxu Seoane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Corneliu Vulpăşin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alianza Trujillo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
