Eustaquio Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Hilario Turi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zarco Bandeira. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the match, Noel Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Haitz. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 18 minutes into the game, Noel Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Eustaquio Haitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubim Jesus to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Turi came free, but Zarco Bandeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Zarco Bandeira was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Daniel Bertoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Bertoni really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Eustaquio Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Tinoco in the 38th minute of the match. Lázaro Caldas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When Gusmão Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Fénix's protests and gave Gusmão Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. Gusmão Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Eulalio Lizer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zarco Bandeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Elpidio Hever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarco Bandeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Bertoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute Hilario Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Bandeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zarco Bandeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Tinoco in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Haitz saved Crottos Crotters F.C. from getting behind. After 73 played minutes Crottos Crotters F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Matos. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Fabian Remir was substituted for Eulalio Lizer. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Noel Tinoco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eustaquio Haitz, 4-3. In the 79th minute, Fernan Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vicente Domingues hit a great ball. Zarco Bandeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Haitz stood somewhat misplaced when Noel Tinoco came free in front of goal and shot 4-4 to the left of him in the 88 minute. Eustaquio Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Tinoco in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Caldas. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
