The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Pezzella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lu Hong Qiang having to interfere. In the 6th minute Paulo Pezzella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Hong Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabé Madrid got free with Lu Hong Qiang in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lu Hong Qiang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Corderall in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Paulo Pezzella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Hong Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Markel in the 14th minute of play forced Mauro's goalkeeper Lu Hong Qiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Bernabé Madrid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romulo Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafał Wern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, River Plate ® 9-12's Lu Hong Qiang threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo Pezzella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 27 minutes into the match, Mauro's goal looked a bit too open when Borja Colidio came free, but Lu Hong Qiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Pezzella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lu Hong Qiang. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Bernabé Madrid put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lu Hong Qiang. After a rather tough play, River Plate ® 9-12's Remigio Salbatore got a free kick in the 37th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernabé Madrid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The River Plate ® 9-12 fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when River Plate ® 9-12's Bernabé Madrid looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stefan Lundblad hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Corderall in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mauro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River Plate ® 9-12.
