Natalio Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Alderete in the 5th minute of the match. GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Alderete in the 8th minute of play. Leo Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Natalio Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Leo Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristan Alderete in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Basualdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Fernández succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. Juan Manuel Olivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Basualdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Natalio Basualdo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after GangsTaz F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabián Estoyanoff took the corner. Fabián Estoyanoff made a great header on Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's corner, it was just that GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo managed to reach the ball for a save. Anibal Dolfo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Valentín Olveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GangsTaz F. C. the free kick. Fabián Estoyanoff hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Natalio Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabián Estoyanoff in the 42nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Tristan Alderete took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Natalio Basualdo to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Taurino to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Kevin Altares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV and the GangsTaz F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Altares to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Basualdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Jurdan during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when GangsTaz F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the GangsTaz F. C. defense, Juan Manuel Olivera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Basualdo. The GangsTaz F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Basualdo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to GangsTaz F. C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nestor Taurino hit a great ball. Tristan Alderete took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Basualdo. Natalio Basualdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Juan Manuel Olivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tristan Alderete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristan Alderete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Basualdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Dolfo's late challenge caught a Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Dolfo helped the player get up and apologised.
