With a left leg Enrique Batista saved Berserkers FC Ψ from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Lázaro Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berserkers FC Ψ and the Şamaxı Bankirlər players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lázaro Quinito hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Foro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Péter Čech was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The Şamaxı Bankirlər fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Péter Čech should have stopped the shot. Gaudencio Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Péter Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Rubio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ricardo Turi's late challenge caught a Şamaxı Bankirlər's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Turi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Berserkers FC Ψ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ricardo Turi hit a great ball. After the first half Berserkers FC Ψ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Foro to make the kick off. When Arzuman Binnätov fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şamaxı Bankirlər's protests and gave Arzuman Binnätov a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ricardo Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Berserkers FC Ψ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ricardo Turi hit a great ball. Qusif Zamanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Enrique Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Turi in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Arzuman Binnätov got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Ricardo Turi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Péter Čech. The goal made the score 0-2. After having played for 94 minutes, Gaudencio Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Foro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Berserkers FC Ψ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
