Péter Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Qusif Zamanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goal looked a bit too open when Toto Toto came free, but Péter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Qusif Zamanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qusif Zamanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dodi Yustisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loğman Hacibabayev in the 24th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toto Toto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Maximilian-Michael Vennegoor Of Hesselink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mansyur Tauhid kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Loğman Hacibabayev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dodi Yustisio. Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Qüdrät Ağamirzadä charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Qüdrät Ağamirzadä the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Şamaxı Bankirlər getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Qüdrät Ağamirzadä hit a great ball. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Péter Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boy Hermawan in the 99th minute of play. The Şamaxı Bankirlər players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
