A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Emiliano Anaya took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Péter Čech to make any attempt to save it. Çärkäz Dünyamaliyev charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çärkäz Dünyamaliyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Çärkäz Dünyamaliyev hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Madrid de Guatemala's Alberto Jimenez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Péter Čech. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aqil Bağiyev in the 17th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aqil Bağiyev in the 17th minute of play. Péter Čech made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Emiliano Anaya sent off a good shot on target. Péter Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Jimenez in the 25th minute of play. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Anaya in the 37th minute of the match. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Angel Salazar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Péter Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Şamaxı Bankirlər from getting a goal against them. Péter Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Anaya in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Anaya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Péter Čech. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliano Anaya was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Emiliano Anaya put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Péter Čech. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Péter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Angel Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Emiliano Anaya got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rolando Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 played minutes Şamaxı Bankirlər got a freekick which was hit by Çärkäz Dünyamaliyev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Jimenez in the 79th minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Péter Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Şamaxı Bankirlər defense, Emiliano Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Péter Čech. The Şamaxı Bankirlər fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Péter Čech should have stopped the shot. Emiliano Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
