In the 11thth minute of the game Cristian Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Şamaxı Bankirlər's Péter Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Péter Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bittencourt in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Batista came free, but Péter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Vito Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Pikachuzim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 23 minutes of play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Şahin Bäylärov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luiz Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Batista in the 30th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Abdulhämid Ibrahimli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Şamaxı Bankirlər and the AS Pikachuzim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Péter Čech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Pikachuzim. In the 37th minute, Vito Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Péter Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Vito Batista made a precise shot to the right of Péter Čech. Şamaxı Bankirlər's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Batista in the 45th minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Péter Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loğman Hacibabayev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Luiz Matorin. AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aqil Bağiyev made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Bittencourt got free with Péter Čech in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Bittencourt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Péter Čech firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Bittencourt let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 58th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Şamaxı Bankirlər's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gildo da Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Pikachuzim's players had a chance to rest. When Vito Batista fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Pikachuzim's protests and gave Vito Batista a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loğman Hacibabayev hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes, AS Pikachuzim's Gildo da Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Péter Čech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AS Pikachuzim reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Bittencourt got free with Péter Čech in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laerte Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Čech having to interfere. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor da Fonseca in the 95th minute of the match.
