Fernan Isadore made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Protegéerna's Erling Skarkman. Cuervos Galácticos's Santos Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Guifre got free with Georg Vallin in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Bennet in the 41st minute of play forced Cuervos Galácticos's goalkeeper Dávid Kárpáti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Billberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Santos Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Vallin having to interfere. When Bo-Erik Springfält came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Protegéerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo-Erik Springfält couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Cuervos Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The attack was good, but when Gavino Guifre in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gavino Guifre sped through Protegéerna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georg Vallin. The Cuervos Galácticos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Protegéerna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
