An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Andrade in the 11th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Denis Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elder Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sacode Football CIMZ's protests and gave Elder Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Elder Marinho. In the 15th match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Cuculeanu to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stiinta-Univ.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enéas Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Sacode Football CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. 19 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Cunha came free, but Denis Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Stiinta-Univ.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Sacode Football CIMZ:s goal. Denis Ghee had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Enéas Andrade's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Andrade came free, but Denis Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Enéas Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Denis Ghee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enéas Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Itoafă came free, but Oséas das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Ghee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enéas Andrade in the 57th minute. Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. Denis Ghee yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Denis Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Andrade. After having played for 77 minutes, Matei Onaca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Onaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes, Ovidiu Borza made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Oséas das Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denílson Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ghee having to interfere. Gino Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costin Cuculeanu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gino Falcão came free, but Denis Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Cuculeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Andrade got free with Denis Ghee in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Club Sacode Football CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Sacode Football CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
