Florin Quelia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Itoafă, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Borza in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edelmiro Diz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviu Lung was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 60 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Aluncai. Golden Dragón F.C's Edilberto Babiano was substituted for Magdaleno Revenga. Golden Dragón F.C's Edgardo Loaisa was substituted for Josu Mendibuey. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Gaitano Reza replaced Edelmiro Diz. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Manuel Aluncai got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitano Reza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Aristide Pupăzan took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Florin Quelia to make any attempt to save it. After 82 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Lanzon. 86 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Loaisa came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Edgardo Loaisa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Aluncai kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Stiinta-Univ.'s Ovidiu Borza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Quelia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Edgardo Loaisa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silviu Lung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Pupăzan. The Golden Dragón F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stiinta-Univ. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
