After 38 minutes, Robert Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fågelmara IK and the Queens of Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Fågelmara IK defense, Ale Pipa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Lilja. The Fågelmara IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Lilja should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ale Dzik to make the kick off. Olov Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ale Dzik in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Esbjörn Bergstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fågelmara IK and the Queens of Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Fågelmara IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Bergstedt to maneuver through the defense. Olov Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Pop in the 77th minute of the match. Ale Pipa might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Lilja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ale Pipa ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Queens of Lublin booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Fastesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ale Drewniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ale Pipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Malte Fastesson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. Ale Drewniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Lilja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Ale Pipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Olov Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Falkiewicz came free, but Olov Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Queens of Lublin had won after a very even match.
