Worst Team Ever's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Raul Fresco scored to the left of an out of position Evert Norberg, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. David Ek hit a great ball. Mats Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Txilar having to interfere. Maximo Bertran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Evert Norberg made a huge save. With a little luck, Worst Team Ever's Evert Norberg got control of the ball when Jeremias Tancredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joar Hjortsberg's late challenge caught a Gastres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joar Hjortsberg helped the player get up and apologised. Joar Hjortsberg hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gastres FC's Jeremias Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evert Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Bertran, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Gastres FC's Jeremias Tancredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Worst Team Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Tancredo in the 24th minute. During the 26th minute of the match Joar Hjortsberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joar Hjortsberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Evert Norberg came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Jeremias Tancredo. But to his dismay, Jeremias Tancredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a little luck, Worst Team Ever's Evert Norberg got control of the ball when Maximo Bertran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremias Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Evert Norberg made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Cai Espinosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Worst Team Ever's Evert Norberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Worst Team Ever from getting a goal against them. Evert Norberg made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jeremias Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Worst Team Ever's Evert Norberg got control of the ball when Everardo Pello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximo Bertran took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evert Norberg. Evert Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.

The referee ordered David Ek off the ground. In the 58th minute, David Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Worst Team Ever's protests and gave Mats Stålman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mats Stålman hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Worst Team Ever defense, Maximo Bertran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Norberg. The Worst Team Ever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Norberg should have stopped the shot. Evert Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Worst Team Ever's Evert Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Tancredo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Jeremias Tancredo made a precise shot to the right of Evert Norberg. Worst Team Ever's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Evert Norberg came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Raul Fresco. But to his dismay, Raul Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After 97 minutes, Lars Källberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Worst Team Ever and the Gastres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Worst Team Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Källberg to maneuver through the defense. Gastres FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
