When Ernesto Venceslao fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Errecaborda AFC's protests and gave Ernesto Venceslao a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Maurin. Dráuzio Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mikelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mathias Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráuzio Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cleiton Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sagarana Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleiton Freitas couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Ernesto Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignacio Mikelar in the 32nd minute. Samuel Ihazintu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 38th minute Ignacio Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráuzio Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Eztebe in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Eztebe hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Venceslao made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Ignacio Mikelar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráuzio Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mikelar in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner. Ignacio Mikelar went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Samuel Ihazintu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee ignored Sagarana Clube's protests and gave César Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. César Carioca hit a great ball. Cleiton Freitas's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleiton Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Freitas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Venceslao in the 94th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Dráuzio Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mikelar in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Errecaborda AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sagarana Clube.
