The supporters of Emerald booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Hoffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damazy Hoffman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Emerald's Mugurel Cezar got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbyszko Hoffman charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyszko Hoffman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Devils! The referee gave Emerald a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mugurel Cezar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski. 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Andrzej Markowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Vieru. Emerald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Markowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Andrzej Markowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Damian Vieru made a huge save. Krzysztof Golaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Angheluș, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Claudiu Râznicu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emerald's protests and gave Claudiu Râznicu a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Râznicu. Andrzej Markowski took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Vieru. Damian Vieru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Borys Haskiewicz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, Emerald's Marin Bârza made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krzysztof Golaszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Michal Petrasz. Flavius Stoicea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Krzysztof Golaszewski. Red Devils's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Markowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrzej Markowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Damian Vieru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Andrzej Markowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Victor Angheluș could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Krzysztof Golaszewski however easily saved by the left post. Krzysztof Golaszewski made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Victor Angheluș sent off a good shot on target. Albert Dășanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Krzysztof Golaszewski made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Angheluș got free with Krzysztof Golaszewski in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piotr Klimkiewicz's late challenge caught a Emerald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piotr Klimkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Klimkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Borys Haskiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Piotr Klimkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Red Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Klimkiewicz couldn't finish the play. If Andrzej Markowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Victor Angheluș got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Piotr Klimkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Vieru was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Red Devils had won after a very even match.
