With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's Angelo Geleberto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

52 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Benat came free, but Viriato Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sporting Clube Patrício's Faustino Berdaitz threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Santiago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube Patrício's zone, Angelo Geleberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viriato Leal came out of the goal and Angelo Geleberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viriato Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Benat struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Viriato Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976. After 65 minutes, Angelo Geleberto made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Viriato Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there!
