In the 22nd minute, Uuno Viira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mart Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Paskal to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martti Nuut didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Kaupo Laur hit a great ball. Pearu Ude took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Vela. Eloy Vela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Marques during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salmuera CP's Enrique Marques got a free kick in the 94th minute. Vila's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
