Mart Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Tuck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Kalde hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uuno Viira in the 12th minute of play. Uuno Viira took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gul Keep. Gul Keep dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Robert Hammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Mart Poom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Tuck in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Arvi Looga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garlic Eaters the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvi Looga to maneuver through the defense. Uuno Viira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uuno Viira in the 32nd minute of play. Gul Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uuno Viira, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Vila were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Garlic Eaters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adolf Nuume took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eero Loorits during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sergo Lepp hit a great ball. Vila's Mart Poom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Vila from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uuno Viira was the one to do the kick off. Gul Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uuno Viira in the 53rd minute of play. Robert Hammond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Hammond scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mart Poom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruninho Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Stuart Winterbottom got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uuno Viira. In the 68th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvi Looga to maneuver through the defense. Arvi Looga hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Robert Hammond came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Garlic Eaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Hammond couldn't finish the play. Alex Kalde hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Pearu Ude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gul Keep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pearu Ude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gul Keep having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Robert Hammond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila's Mart Poom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Pearu Ude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mart Poom was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garlic Eaters had won after a very even match.
