Robert Hammond started the match with the kick off. Feliciano Chale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from James Tuck went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Pobersnik in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Carlos Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. 010011110100011001000110's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gul Keep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Charlie Silk got a free kick in the 20th minute. 谢响誉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If 谢响誉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, 010011110100011001000110's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Falcão came free, but Feliciano Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. James Tuck took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Chale. Feliciano Chale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 谢响誉 in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. Gul Keep was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Mario Pobersnik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mario Pobersnik really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. James Tuck took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Chale. Feliciano Chale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of 010011110100011001000110 booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gez Barber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Falcão. After the first half Garlic Eaters were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 谢响誉 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Stuart Winterbottom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to 010011110100011001000110 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Feliciano Chale but with some difficulty. Cliff Gurney made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 010011110100011001000110's Lucas Calvino. In the 84th match minute, 010011110100011001000110 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Ruisko to maneuver through the defense. If Karl Marx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Marx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gul Keep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Garlic Eaters's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
