After a rather tough play, HHH's Hüsnü Murat got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ramazan Eygül made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Fernandez in the 12th minute of play. Thiago Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birsel Kulan in the 39th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Hermínio Cunha put in a rough tackle. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grêmio Prudente! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisinho Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. Birsel Kulan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Grêmio Prudente's goal. After 56 minutes of play, Grêmio Prudente's Mauro Mattos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramazan Eygül was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Fernandez in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramazan Eygül saved HHH from getting behind. Alisson Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan came free, but Thiago Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee ignored Grêmio Prudente's protests and gave Afonsinho de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Couto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luisinho Fernandez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Ramazan Eygül 78 minutes into the match. Gani Kahveci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Couto having to interfere. Birsel Kulan's late challenge caught a Grêmio Prudente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birsel Kulan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, HHH's Birsel Kulan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by HHH's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronaldão Diniz was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Prudente's players had a chance to rest. Ronaldão Diniz made a great header on Grêmio Prudente's corner, it was just that HHH's Ramazan Eygül managed to reach the ball for a save. Thiago Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Numan Buğdaycı in the 94th minute of the match.
