Carlos Santana started the match with the kick off. Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 4th minute of the match. Josef Müller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Darien charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Darien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaldo Darien hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Josef Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Josef Müller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anier Eufrasio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 19th playminute. Gualterio Mikolas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Marcelo Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Derwin in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Eufrasio got free with Marcelo Brion in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Forever Tango's Marcelo Brion got control of the ball when Domingo Jon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Forever Tango's Josef Müller made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Ixona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualterio Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Geronimo Isadore fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlin FC's protests and gave Geronimo Isadore a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Derwin made a kick off. Forever Tango's Marcelo Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Henry in the 53rd minute of play. Marcelo Brion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Blas Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Erasmo Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Jon to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Ixona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Isadore to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Havier in the 72nd minute of the match. After 79 played minutes, Forever Tango's Ulises Remir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Forever Tango reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Mikolas in the 84th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
