Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 17th minute Blas Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Josef Müller notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Müller in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Lekubegi saved Palermo from getting behind. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Müller in the 26th minute of the match. Enrique Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Havier in the 29th minute of play. Marcelo Brion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Guipuzkoa in the 32nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Gaufred was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ciro Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forever Tango's Marcelo Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Fernendo in the 53rd minute of play. Omar Gaspard came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enrique Lekubegi could save by the left post. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Müller in the 60th minute of the match. Blas Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Enrique Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Forever Tango:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palermo:s goal. Donato Vachon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Marcelo Brion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josef Müller's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Müller helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Vachon in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes Forever Tango's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anibal Fernendo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Palermo's corner Anibal Fernendo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Brion quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi got control of the ball when Carlos Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Havier in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Lekubegi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palermo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Forever Tango had controlled the match.
