Baltazar Fonticoba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xorxe Soldado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Carioca in the 5th minute of the match. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Frodo Alabern managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tonhão Palmeira in the 7 minute of the game. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Xorxe Soldado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Carioca in the 11th minute of play. Anter Titos charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anter Titos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anter Titos to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Baltazar Fonticoba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Parfrente FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Montenegro. After having played for 19 minutes, Baltazar Fonticoba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Fonticoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Montenegro got free with Xorxe Soldado in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Baltazar Fonticoba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Juvenal Barreto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xorxe Soldado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juvenal Barreto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xorxe Soldado firmly grabbed it by the left post. Xorxe Soldado made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ronaldo do Valle sent off a good shot on target. When Ronaldo do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Parfrente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo do Valle couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Cugat Marines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 41st minute of the game Tonhão Palmeira made a throw-in which Mauro Montenegro played forward. Kauan Carioca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xorxe Soldado came out and tried to block the shot, but Kauan Carioca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. Cugat Marines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Baltazar Fonticoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Chaves having to interfere. Xorxe Soldado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo do Valle in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, one of Parfrente FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cipriano Vicente was substituted for Cugat Marines. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Xorxe Soldado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Barreto in the 73rd minute of play. Xorxe Soldado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Carioca in the 75th minute of play. Baltazar Fonticoba struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Haroldo Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO. When Parfrente FC's Juvenal Barreto in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Meireles in the 83rd minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Xorxe Soldado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Fonticoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Haroldo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Joey Rosario hit a great ball. Juan Viqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Xorxe Soldado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Juvenal Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xorxe Soldado. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juvenal Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Vicente in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Chaves saved Parfrente FC from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
