Spectators: 7800 (Terracing: 5851, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Fernandes started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Sydney Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Pedro Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Mendez Beguellina came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Red Reign fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mendez Beguellina couldn't finish the play. A collision led to REAL RIO CRVG getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marcinho Velloso hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Alfredo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oso Udoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mateo Guareña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Neli in the 30th minute of play forced REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendez Beguellina, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes in the game, Mendez Beguellina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Percival Prestes having to interfere. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendez Beguellina in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Hurtado Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Reign's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hurtado Roman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper Percival Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Guareña. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mendez Beguellina to make the kick off. Gláuber Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Percival Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendez Beguellina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brito Sande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, REAL RIO CRVG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to REAL RIO CRVG getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marcinho Velloso hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Ferrer Pueyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, REAL RIO CRVG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. REAL RIO CRVG's Percival Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurtado Roman in the 71st minute of play. Natã Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Oso Udoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL RIO CRVG. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brito Sande in the 75th minute of play forced REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Prestes came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Reign's Arlín Telleria. But to his dismay, Arlín Telleria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Percival Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mendez Beguellina in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walme Casas to maneuver through the defense. Oso Udoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrão Souza in the 92nd minute.
