Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Mattos in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Mattos came free, but Sonny Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arne Bryngelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Dias was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Sonny Åkesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Lucas in the 45th minute of play. Sonny Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Bryngelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Mattos during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bob Chute had several of the Hermanö Oilers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Sonny Åkesson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luiz Paulo Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Sonny Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Misericordia EC. Misericordia EC's Caetano Mattos got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Caetano Mattos off the ground. Caetano Mattos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Arne Bryngelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Dias was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Bob Chute got a free kick in the 84th minute. Diogo Neiva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Sune Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Dias having to interfere. Geovanni Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sonny Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Falck to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Misericordia EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hermanö Oilers throughout the match.
