With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Balasi in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Prestes saved REAL RIO CRVG from getting behind. After 14 minutes, Marcinho Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL RIO CRVG and the Gallardo y Biscay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Marcinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 21st minute of play. REAL RIO CRVG's Percival Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save REAL RIO CRVG from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes REAL RIO CRVG got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Sarmento. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alfredo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL RIO CRVG's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Ezequiel Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of REAL RIO CRVG's goalie and right to Paulo Edwardo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. REAL RIO CRVG's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Miguel Borja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Percival Prestes made a huge save. Prospero Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Fernandes in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Miguel Borja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percival Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

54 minutes into the game, Miguel Borja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Percival Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emiliano Frichoso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, one of Gallardo y Biscay FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gallardo y Biscay FC. The excitement rose when REAL RIO CRVG's Durvalino Sarmento after 61 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Gallardo y Biscay FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. After 72 minutes, Sebastian Vidal made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. REAL RIO CRVG's Percival Prestes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 played minutes, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Gergely Csernyi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Percival Prestes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The corner led Gallardo y Biscay FC's Aquiles Orland to fire away a dangerous shot which Percival Prestes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 85 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Perfecto. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Natã Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL RIO CRVG's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gallardo y Biscay FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
