In the 27th minute of the match Johan Hökkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihail Nazaria skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to ATE AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cecilio Salomone hit a great ball. Mihail Nazaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mihail Nazaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gernberg in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ATE AFC's Cecilio Salomone got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Jago Ballesteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Nazaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Sajeev Rajah made a precise shot to the right of Mihail Nazaria. ATE AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jago Ballesteros to make the kick off.
