Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Inmortales FC from getting a goal against them. Arturo George was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arturo George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wade Hadley in the 12th minute of the match. When Zack Sneed came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Inmortales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Sneed couldn't finish the play. The Inmortales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Gabriel Mercado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. Arturo George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Sneed in the 34th minute of play. Arturo George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Clinton in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Mike Clinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Zack Sneed had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo George. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zack Sneed was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Saturnino Justin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half Inmortales FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Rosendo Olivar made the kick off in the second half. Zack Sneed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo George having to interfere. Wade Hadley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo George. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eloy Theobald hit a great ball. A hard shot by Larry Colby from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Arturo George's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zack Sneed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zack Sneed struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Arturo George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inmortales FC. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Arturo George had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larry Colby. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Mike Clinton scored to the left of an out of position Arturo George, making the score, 0-4. Cristopher Herndon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Mike Clinton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inmortales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Inmortales FC played a much better game than C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo and deserved their victory. The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
