Kåre Nochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Wennerberg in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Wennerberg came free, but Kåre Nochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Kattvik kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Georg Ingvall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kåre Nochev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kåre Nochev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Wennerberg in the 25th minute of the match. Kåre Nochev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Wennerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kåre Nochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Wennerberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, U. de Tarapacá's Alam Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Georg Ingvall. Georg Ingvall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kåre Nochev came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Kattvik kings's Kjell Wennerberg. But to his dismay, Kjell Wennerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paulín Jurado lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bernt Stigsson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Kåre Nochev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kattvik kings. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Pulgar was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Alfredo Saralegui hit a great ball. Kåre Nochev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Lagerberg in the 54th minute. U. de Tarapacá's Kåre Nochev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Hellkvist in the 55th minute of play. Georg Ingvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Pulgar in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Bartolomé Romero got a free kick in the 94th minute. Kattvik kings played a much better game than U. de Tarapacá and deserved their victory. The U. de Tarapacá players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
