Alfredo Saralegui helped the player get up and apologised. Kåre Nochev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolomé Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Pulgar was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Remigio Inocente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Big Babousa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U. de Tarapacá the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Monico Montoya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Pulgar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Monico Montoya was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Blanco Paris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Monico Montoya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alfredo Saralegui hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Alam Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Big Babousa's Monico Montoya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
