Pascal Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Guillem in the 3rd minute of play. FrenaHayBache's Daniel Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FrenaHayBache's Geronimo Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergaray Bernabeytia in the 5th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Vergaray Bernabeytia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the FrenaHayBache players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergaray Bernabeytia to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FrenaHayBache's Hugo Abajas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Geronimo Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Baez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vergaray Bernabeytia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Geronimo Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Vicente Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammed Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, FrenaHayBache's goalkeeper Geronimo Montez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vergaray Bernabeytia. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when FrenaHayBache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FrenaHayBache getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hernan Gombal hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Daniel Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascal Avalos. S.D. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Hernandez in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Avalos saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. FrenaHayBache's Geronimo Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergaray Bernabeytia in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes, Hugo Abajas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FrenaHayBache and the S.D. Bajen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the FrenaHayBache defense, Jorge Baez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Montez. The FrenaHayBache fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Montez should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hernandez in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52ndth minute of the game Daniel Hernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.D. Bajen's Pascal Avalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute of the match, Daniel Hernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pascal Avalos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th minute Vergaray Bernabeytia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, S.D. If Daniel Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. S.D. Bajen's Chance Holley was substituted for Darryl Hardin. In the 88th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergaray Bernabeytia to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Orlondon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pascal Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FrenaHayBache's Vicente Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
