Fedele Di Tommaso started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Armin Giolo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute Menchu FC were awarded a corner. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez went to the cornerflag to take it. Santoryu FC's Armin Giolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Goren in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Di Tommaso in the 18th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Goren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armin Giolo having to make a save. Osvaldo Goren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Armin Giolo made a huge save. Angel Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Sisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Di Tommaso in the 24th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Damiano Sisti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Angel Comizzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Fedele Di Tommaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Giolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Goren's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes in the game Giovanni Milan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Damiano Sisti. When Rigoberto Cuarto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menchu FC's protests and gave Rigoberto Cuarto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Rigoberto Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osvaldo Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Menchu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santoryu FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Goren was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damiano Sisti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Comizzo having to make a save. Timoteo Colas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Martorella came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Santoryu FC's Aurelio Martorella, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Santoryu FC. Menchu FC's Lucio Ourente was substituted for Nelson Cuevas. Menchu FC made a substitution. Siro Eufemio replaced Vicente Noe. The Santoryu FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Santoryu FC's Damiano Sisti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angel Comizzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damiano Sisti's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Siro Eufemio put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Armin Giolo. After 90 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Quentin. Santoryu FC's Corrado Lizzi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angel Comizzo but with some difficulty. Armin Giolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Eufemio in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Martorella in the 94th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Siro Eufemio notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Santoryu FC's Armin Giolo. Armin Giolo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santoryu FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
