Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Matos in the 66th minute of the match. Rune Helström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Busk having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Matos came free, but Jim Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christoffer Öberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jim Lindholm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Matos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 89 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xentrias eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
