Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Tarada's Johnny Raiola started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Gil Fritsch. In the 5th minute of the match Eraldo Russo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cliff Gottschalk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beppe Cinque came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarada's Mick Racine. But to his dismay, Mick Racine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Camporioccio VS's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Nuessli came free, but Beppe Cinque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Schäppi in the 12th minute of play forced Camporioccio VS's goalkeeper Beppe Cinque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Cinque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Raiola in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Tarada's Mick Racine made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Cinque was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Tarada's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Perna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cliff Gottschalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Perna in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Mick Racine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Cinque was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 28 minutes of play, Tarada's Marc Nuessli made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Cinque was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the game, Marc Nuessli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Beppe Cinque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beppe Cinque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Raiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Beppe Cinque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mick Racine went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Tarada made a substitution. Wolf Ehrenbolger replaced Mick Racine. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Perna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Marc Nuessli took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Beppe Cinque to make any attempt to save it. Beppe Cinque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf Ehrenbolger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Cinque made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Johnny Raiola sent off a good shot on target. Carmine Rosati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Gottschalk having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Laurent Weyermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurent Weyermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Russo's late challenge caught a Tarada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eraldo Russo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Camporioccio VS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Russo to maneuver through the defense. Beppe Cinque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wolf Ehrenbolger in the 83rd minute. Beppe Cinque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf Ehrenbolger in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Claudio Casiraghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Gottschalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henri Schäppi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Beppe Cinque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf Ehrenbolger in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Tarada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Camporioccio VS throughout the match.
