After a rather tough play, Tarada's Henri Schäppi got a free kick in the 12th minute. Henri Schäppi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Manole Ghiondea made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Bag came free, but Cliff Gottschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mick Racine got free with Manole Ghiondea in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cliff Gottschalk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Bag, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Andone came free, but Cliff Gottschalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Filip Mavrogheni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Raiola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Galati Harbour Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manole Ghiondea should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jo Bag hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Basarab Zdroană reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cliff Gottschalk. The goal made the score 2-1. Cliff Gottschalk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Anghel in the 83rd minute of the match. Marc Nuessli scored 3-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manole Ghiondea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Ghiondea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Raiola went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Wolf Ehrenbolger scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manole Ghiondea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tarada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
