Samuel Demicoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evan Ferguson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Templars FC booed when Greenbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Callum Rockett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Demicoli didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Alfie Nethercot came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Oliver Friggieri. But to his dismay, Oliver Friggieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 34th minute Mark Montebello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfie Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Junior Leadbeater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Callum Rockett kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Templars FC's Samuel Demicoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 minutes of play, Greenbay's Evan Ferguson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Demicoli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute, Peter Degiorgio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liam Rolè took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfie Nethercot. Alfie Nethercot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 59th minute, Jordan Ellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Oliver Friggieri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfie Nethercot. Oliver Friggieri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Peter Degiorgio hit a great ball. Don Huckerby charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Don Huckerby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Don Huckerby. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Rolè got free with Alfie Nethercot in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Don Huckerby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Templars FC's Oliver Friggieri in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Greenbay's goalie prevented a goal. Alfie Nethercot made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Oliver Friggieri sent off a good shot on target. Liam Rolè struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alfie Nethercot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Templars FC. If Adam Aquilina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greenbay's Alfie Nethercot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. The Templars FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Templars FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
